Josh
Manso-
Born December 28, 1972, Josh Manso combines 2 wonderful
skills. He is a professional teacher by trade, and a Brazilian
Jiu Jitsu Black Belt by choice. His training began 13 years
ago in Hawaii under Brazilian Jiu Jitsu legend Relson Gracie.
Under Relson, Josh would earn his blue and in the process
distinguish himself among the elite in the art. He was a
3 time state champion while in Hawaii. He also trained under
World Champion Pablo Popovitch and taught as an assistant
instructor for 3 years and was promoted to the rank of Brown
Belt. He also has to his credit the title of America Cup
of Jiu Jitsu Superfight Champion, and has competed in NAGA
superfights winning a 3rd place in the Expert Gi Division.
Judo
is also an interest of Josh’s, he has 10 years experience
in Judo and twice placed as Runner Up in the Alaska State
Championships.
Josh is a teacher by trade with a Master’s Degree
in Education. Combining his 2 passions, teaching ability
with Jiu Jitsu skills, make Josh one of the best instructors
in the area. He knows the techniques and skillfully delivers
the information to his students.
