Koon Hung Choy Lay Fut Enters Mexico! Sifu Jose Luis of Wudang Kung
Fu hosted Master Li Siu Hung & Sifu Joe Keit in San Luis Potosi
Mexico to help spread the traditional kung fu art of "Choy Lay
Fut". Sifu Jose Luis has been into martial arts most of his life,
he studied Choy Lay Fut earlier, but wished to continue his training
with the Lee Koon Hung Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu Association. For over 5
years he has visited and trained in Florida with Master Li and hopes
to spread our art to all the people of Mexico... We all look foward
to the future together, Sifu Jose Luis is a great man, has very good
kung fu and a great vision to spread the art...

In
3 short days, our team did so much our heads are still spinning... We
ate at some of the best restaraunts in Seattle, we performed Lion Dance
with our Choy Lay Fut brothers at a show, we were part of a Lion/ Dragon
Dance for the main event, we performed Kung Fu, we walked all over,
ate dim sum 5 times in one day and trained kung fu... Wow! Travelling
with our team is always great, and what makes it great are the people
we are connected with...

France!
In
March 2007 we travelled to France spreading the art of "Choy Lay
Fut" and making new friends. Sifu Ghislain of the Long Tao Kung
Fu School in Toulouse, France hosted Master Li Siu Hung & Sifu Joe
Keit to further his training in traditional Choy Lay Fut style Kung
Fu. Sifu Ghislain, his assistants and their students learned many of
the fundamentals of Choy Lay Fut as well as some advanced training.
We
were very impressed with Sifu Ghislain and all of his students. They
all were very passionate about Kung Fu and Sifu Ghislain is an excellent
teacher who teaches from his heart as well as being very skilled in
Chinese Martial Arts.
Grandmaster
Lee Koon Hung loved Kung Fu, he spent alot of time teaching Internationally.
Many of Grandmasters students continue to pass on what they learned.
Master Li & Sifu Joe have continued to spread Choy Lay Fut abroad
hoping to continue Grandmasters hard work and reaching out to serious
students who wish to learn the great style passed on to us by Grandmaster
Lee Koon Hung.
We
thank Sifu Ghislain and his students for their hard work in taking care
of us and we hope they will continue to learn and develop their skills
with Choy Lay Fut.

Chow Keung's 60th Birthday!

Joe Keit visited Hong Kong again this year to celebrate and help
our good friend Master Chow Keung of the "Tai Shing Pek Kwar"
school in Hong Kong.
Almost
1,000 people attended Master Chow Keung's banquet and Joe performed
along with Master Chow Keung's students. Joe also spent time with
our Choy Lay Fut family there...

Our
headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida has moved to a bigger and
better location.
Classes
begin Monday June 26th 2006 and the schedule is still current at this
time.
Our
Ft. Lauderdale school suffered much damage from Hurricane Wilma and
we could no longer
continue
to teach in such horrible conditions.
We
appreciate everyone's support and loyalty in making this move. The
new location is within 10 minutes
drive
from the old school. SEE YOU THERE!!!

Grandmaster Chan
Sau Chung, the famous "Monkey King" of the Tai Shing Pek Kwar
System hosted a banquet and Kung fu Exhibition in Vancouver Canada to
celebrate the beginning of a new organization to help promote Chinese
Martial Arts. Here are a few pictures from the event with Kung Fu Superstar
"Chan Koon Tai", most of us grew up watching him in the old
Shaw Brothers movies...
